How We Work.
Getting Started.
Getting started is easy. Simple schedule your first call with one of our ecologists. We’ll talk about your property, its history, and your goals. We can use a variety of online mapping tools to take a virtual tour with you. We send you our call notes for review so that you know that we heard what you shared.
Site Visit.
We visit so we can see and evaluate your soil, water, and light conditions. Native plants are harder than you think, and our ecologists are masters at interpreting your site's conditions and determining what is, and what is not, possible on your property. Remember, we’re not landscapers, but professional ecologists.
Site Report.
Shortly after a site visit, we share with you our full site report that educates you about your site, how it functions, and any implications for your goals.
Our site report acts as the foundation for all future discussions about options and planning. You see, without an ecological site report, we would both be guessing about what is truly going to work.
The site report provides a unique, proprietary analysis of your site conditions that can be obtained nowhere else.
Options Evaluation.
Sometimes there is only one realistic way to achieve your goals, and you can be confident in our professional opinions.
But in some cases, there can be several ways in which we can realize your objectives. In this case, we describe the 2-3 options in enough detail for you to make an informed decision about how to recreate an authentic landscape on your property.
The Proposal. The Warranty.
In due time, you’ll get to the point where you will want to know how much things are going to cost. When we write a proposal for you, it fully describes the goals and what work we will perform on your property, and most importantly, a fixed price budget.
We want you to know that we will take full responsibility for implementing your project for a price that will never go up. We handle all aspects of a project; all you have to do is watch us work.
WildLawn normally warrants each project for up to five years. We promise that if you don’t love your WildLawn, we’ll give you your old lawn back!
